KWI Prijzen

As it celebrates and rewards Dutch entrepreneurship and innovation, the identity maries bold creativity with sustainable stability

The water based pattern that gives the design its background is inspired by the canals and streams network weaved in Dutch geography, history and development. The notion of flow also references economic exchanges and relations.

The Royal blue is the principal color, establishing a base, symbolising tradition, stability, and water. The neon orange is a little twist on the color of the King. Reminding also of construction work, it is the color of people who take risks and build. It comes as a spice on the base of the blue, adding a pinch of boldness and creativity on a traditional foundation.

Personal proposition made for the identity of the 2020 edition of the KWI prize made as part of the Studio Piraat team.
